wtb working holly 650 double pumper

WTB

Holly 650/750 Double Pumper

suitable for LG4 / Edelbrock intake. Looking for something I can bolt right on, not have to rebuild.

DF DPs are all square bore and will not bolt up to a spread bore intake... you would need an adapter which is getting kind of sketchy.

its a little big for you....

look for something in the 500-600 cfm range. The only thing a bigger carb will do for you is kill throttle response & be laggy.

hey wait

this edelbrock performer intake can take a holly DP, actually had one on it when i first got the car.

what is the differnce between spreadbore and squarebore.

Its a 1407....brand new...never been used.

Squarebore - 4 equal size bores
Spreadbore - 2 small primaries(low speed) and 2 larger secondaries

thats on a 4bbl...since Ive never seen a spreadbore 2 barrel..lol

this might explain why the holly that was on there was squirting (ya squirting) fuel all over the front of the motor
