WC T-5 Identification??
Any of you guys know a couple ways to identify a WC T-5 Transmission vs. the older T-5's?
I have a line on a t-5 out of a 89 for next to nothing..and am curious as to how I can tell what exactly it is/inside it?
I am assuming that these have a "tag" or "stamping" on them...any ideas as to where to look or different "distinctive things" to look for on the case?
Thanks Guys!

There was a guy on here that had a good picture of the differance. If you have the bellhouseing off .....there is what looks like a freeze plug on the mounting face of the tranny( on NON W/C). If it's a W/C it looks like this "freezeplug"looking thing will seam machiened.
still I;d look into it a bit more ...as I haven't seen this for myself.

I'm still pretty sure it's Torrington.
Just put a healthy motor in front of it, you'll find out quick enough.
If you can get it that cheap, it'd be worth getting regardless.
