You can be fixed easily. You're right here.
PM me and I'll set you up with someone local.

The guy down NF way will take a lot of talking back and forth to get it running right. It can be done but it will take a lot of time and agravation. The other T&A.

Hi thanks for the quick reply. What i have done is put the TPI in my truck got it running with the TBI (747) ecm but it is way to rich i knew it would be but it was all I had.I have a 165 ecm but i dont want to go with mass air as i have no room for the duct work and the mass air sensors are to much $$$.I can get a 7730 ecm from a grand am but then i need a prom can that prom in a grand am be flashed or redone to a stock speced 350 prom with eliminating the vats and others?
Will it even run if i just left the grand am prom in it to get this thing to a body shop and save some coin for the proper one ???
Any help will be appreciated i am willing to drive to TO or ajax

Ok, you will need to give me a couple of days to straighten this out. I will get you a solid contact.

What do the locals think of Vince C.? Thats's the first guy that comes to mind. Not many more shops can deal with this. Too many farm the programming out.

My buddy owns a stereo shop,EHR, and he has got vats bypass modules, any body use these. They use them when they install auto starts!

I'm no expert on the bypass modules but I understand most of the VATS system. I would assume the vats bypass module is nothing but a 2 wire connector with a variable resistor on it. By our PM's it's something beyond that unless you are hooking to the wrong wires. ORN & WHT right? The side going away from the coloum, not to it. We didn't clear those bases either so I'm just checkin'.

NO I have absolutly no VATS parts in my truck at all! These modules send a frequency to the ECM. They use these when they hook up autostarts. E bay has them and they say if your building a street rod with TPI this is what you need. If i had vats hooked up i would just go by 15 different resistors till i got the right one. Has any body heard of these modules?

I thought you had a fbody and it didn't start. I did not realize you don't have the VATS module ect. In that case the resistor will not work. You either need custom programming to ignore the signal from the VATS module or if that thingamajig you mentiioned will do the trick. I know custom programming will cure your problem. Not sure about the other thing. So many folks do EPROMS now that it's a wonder nobody has offered to do it for the price of the EPROM it's self. There is plenty of free software available to do it for free if you take the time to learn how to use it.

If you are willing to come to Toronto, I can hook you up with someone like I mentioned but I have no idea how much it would cost. I'd do it for free if I had the stuff.
