Nice Junk Yard find

Went to the junkyard on the weekend and found this. Its the best shape I have ever seen one of these in. Looks like someone might have recovered it already. $20 bucks!

We even got it slid into place over the roll bar without damaging it.

I need a headliner for my Buick. The prices on the repro stuff are nuts.

Andy's in London and they had about 6 thirdgens there. 5 others with no headliner or it was sagging baddly. I have been checking their yard for over a year now and I just happened to hit it lucky on the weekend.

I have 2 headliners ready for new fabric. My neibour got me the fabric since he is a uphosterer type of person. I'm gonna get him to attach it too.

Gotta check the junk yards regularly. I was about to grab some 28 spline axels and a posi from a 91 formula but didn't have the tools I needed to pull it. Went back a few days later and the whole car was gone. It seems once a couple of people go thru a car, any thing of any use is either taken or destroyed.

Hey Paul... there is a place here just outside of London called NOS reproductions... they might have a deal... and you could avoid shipping charges:

I scored a set of axles, the whole rear end was only worth $10 more. So the scrap yard guy took another $20 off the rest of my junk. Now I got a spare set of 26's and 28's.
