ZZ4 cam
I see some people on here have the ZZ4 cams, where did you buy it, how much and what other internals were required to install this cam properly (springs, timing chain, lifters) ?
I know the ZZ4 GM performance engines are rated around 355-385 HP 405ft/lbs torque or so, correct me if Im wrong.

George, you're such a cynic lol.
But seriously, I wouldn't run one if you gave it to me. There are much better cams for both TPI and carbed applications that will provide the same manners with just as much, if not more, power.
As for the install:
1. Reuse your OE lifters if they're healthy.
2. Get a new timing set and get a set of springs that the cam manufacturer suggests for use with that cam. I don't understand it when people spend all kinds of money on an engine and then use **** springs. It leaves power on the table and can kill your engine.
Ok, I'm stepping down from the soap box. It's about to break anyway............

I have the ZZ4 cam . nice idle , nice midrange power too.
I think I have an exhaust clip of it in my sig
I am running the SD1007 springs with it 350lbs@ 1.2" . 120 lbs @ 1.8"( installed height) . I went and got the heads studed while I was at it . Not sure if the guide boss needed to be milled or what .
I got mine for 50 bucks ..or around there . Package deal .
