Messed up 88 Iroc-Z
as the tittle says, this car was a nice Iroc till the day someone had the idea of messing it up. here i am to bring it back to life.
It is an 305 TPI with headers and a true dual exhaust, auto and gotta find out the rear end. here is some pictures:

got some small spots of rust and it is all lubed under. next year will be doing the body work. for now i gonna take care of the wiring. my console is broken inside and some screws are gone. got a viper alarm and messed up wiring under the dashboard, center console and under the hachback lock. this is only the console nasty job.

That doesn't look too bad, nowhere near as bad as I've seen so thats good. I'm sure you'll get it all straightened out soon. So is it the stock 305 TBI motor?

I feel your pain brother! Been there, done that. Yours looks a little better organized than the rats next I had to unravel.

Take your time. Go slow. Clip one wire at a time and test to see if it messes anything up. If it's not affecting anything better to leave it and just make it neat & tidy.
Watching your progress.... Good luck.

Good luck finding those parts...third gen parts are scarce in the wreckers. Check kijiji...lots of parts there, specifically one fellow in Mount Hope (near Hamilton) parting out a bunch.

you KNOW your car isn't nearly as messed up as my camaro so quit your bitchin' lol. I gotta say, the racing stripes are pretty cool. I hate wiring crap, it's always a mess and you always work in the craziest yoga positions.

Can you give us a close up picture of those super cool bowtie painted front parking lights?
That is a mod everyone should have.

wiring is done. just waiting to go to the junk yard and get a radio from a new gm car. the body seems to be fine. got some small pots of rust, but the car is all lubed under. got 250 xxx on the engine and tranny, but seems like the engine was rebuild before.
