winter prep (no garage)
winter prep (no garage)
What do you guys suggest I do.......I know I have a bit of time before the car comes off but I want to mabey start getting ready anyway.
Right now I have a little (deck) that I have made out of pressure treated 2x6 its big enough for the car to sit on as I also have no paved driveway.
But what else do I need to do jack it up as well? mothballs for mice????????????? dude they smell bad. is there anything else I can use.
engine and battery wise whats up there. cover or no cover?????????

You don't need to do any of that unless its sitting for years. My car has always sat through winter with either a tarp or no tarp, on its own wheels on a gravel driveway (depending) where I kept it that particular years with the battery connected. Never had a problem with mice ever.

I get mice when I leave it outside unfortunately. I would like to know what to use also. I don't wanna use mothballs, they reek.

I leave mine in a portable garage but before its stored I get it Rust Checked seems to keep the mice away because its so soaked with oil .
Oil stays on right till spring-summer and no problems with mice.

I usually fill up the tank, unplug the battery and cover it up with a soft car cover first then a tarp.
