I am making some plans for May/June and don't want to double book. Has there been any agreement on the 2002 Gathering yet ? Last I heard it was tentative May 2-4 at Grand Bend.

Not sure of the protocol on this -- should we get the Board Moderator to co-ordinate ?

May 24 sounds good to me.. but I dunno if I can wait that long.. heck I WANT MY CAR NOW!!!! But I can't.... still crappy weather... I am in withdrawl of real horsepower

 

May 2-4 is the tentative date... I think we can make it the official date now... there has been enough interest. I will be there no matter what (I am always there). I will be calling the track soon to see if I can get a group discount for us.

I'm pretty sure I will be in on this...I don't have any other plans as of yet.

 

I am judging at a tournament in Kitchener on the Saturday May 4th from 9:00-2:00pm and can make it to GB either for the Saturday afternoon (depending on how late the venue is open ?) or for the day Sunday May 5th (pretty hard to get away for two days on a May weekend without going to war with the wife). So I cannot commit to two days, most likely Sunday May 5th.

Does GB have a class for stock or lightly modified street cars ? Eg: my almost all stock Formula ? Also, is there a road course to play with some turning skills at GB ?

Sorry guys... I guess I should have been more clear about the date for you older guys

May 2-4 is slang for the May 24th long week-end (in reality it usually doesn't fall on may 24th) This year it falls from may 17th to May 19th. I hope that doesn't mess up anyones plans!

Palric -> yes, they do have a class for every car... but sorry, no road course. I think if we have an end of summer event we should do it at a road course.

 

cool... so we actually race cars we have a chance against? LOL
