Notchback for sale.. I have plans

Ok guys.. here it is, I love the notchback GTA'sm but I do not want to part with my GTA, because I love it, but I wanted a notchback for it and can not get one. So, here's my plan.... Buy the car (8000bux CDN) take the notchback off and spray it black to match my car, then spray the hatch off my car to match the notchback GTA, and throw it on there and resell it.... devilish, I know... but I want a notchback soooooo bad!! And this notchback doesn't have the original colour on it, and it has more k's on it... and I've done soo much work with my car.

here's the pic and info

You'll need the rear seats as well. That's a ton of money for that car even with the notchback. I love the notchbacks too I've allways wondered how much they weigh.

I paid less than that for my GTA with 67000kms, dual converters, and t-tops. It just seems high to me. If you want it, get it. Come to think of it, i've never even seen a black notchback. Your car would be pretty unique. The only notchbacks i've ever seen where white.

Doesn't any one make an aftermarket notchback? I know GTAuto has one for Camaros... but it looks kind of ghetto. If I were you I wouldn't do it. 8,000 is alot of working capital. If the car doesn't sell.... you're screwed for mods this summer!

yes, this is true... the only notchback i've seen is that one from GTauto accesories... and it's not an exact replica... i will hold out, but I still may go look at the car, cause I've never seen a notchback in person. I talked with paridisealley about the notchback, and they are trying to get a fiberglass replica made up for it.

I paid less than $8000 for my car My GTA is an '89 and it had not seen any winters. In my opinion, pictures don't do the notchback justice. It looks even better in person. I wouldn't put the GTAuto notchback on my car if you paid me to. I don't know why they didn't just mold the GM version.

There's a company in Britannia Rd in Mississauga (I have to look for the number) that makes 2 kinds of notchback style hatches..THey sell it for around $500-$600 and $850 with a spoiler..I dont care about the looks but would love the weight savings

Yeah, thats what he told me.. he mentioned that he started the fiberglass replica rear wing for the T/A's, and someone copied it or sold out on him or something. Thats tough to find a trustworthy company
