The main board went on my laptop last fall. Does anyone know where I can get a decent used laptop in Canada? Thanks

Paul, I seen some decent used ones on the Dell.ca website. I think they were in the 600.00 range. I'm not sure what you are lookin to spend.

Is raw processing power, memory or disk an issue ?

I'd use an Atari if I could
No, processor speed is not important. I need the laptop to eavesdrop on the conversations my engine has with the ecm and to run the DFI when I put my Z28 back together.

That would be great, thanks. The only place i've found is Burnt Circuits in London. They want $385 for a Pentium 166 with everything(rom, 12 inch screen, 3 gig hd, 32megs of ram). They also offer a 45 day warrantee which is nice.

Have you got a link? $600 sounds just about right if they are relatively modern.
