Paint Shops?

I'm looking to paint my car this summer, nothing fancy (IROCKER I'm looking at you! ) just a freshening up. I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest place, but a good job for a reasonable rate. If you guys could share your experiences, good and bad, that would be great.

Well... My buddies dad (where my car is now... at his home garage/shop) does awesome jobs, he owns a collision shop here in welland. If your car only needs a sand and a spray... I would say around 2000 will get you a primo job. If you want to call him, the number is 905-734-1023. You can mention my name, but it won't get you a deal. I dunno if he'll like me telling you this.. but I recommend him for a high quality paint job... he uses DuPont paint, which comes with an 8 year warranty, and a 1 year warranty for rust.

I know the price is high.. but you don't have to worry about paint peeling and fading for 8 years... He sprayed my spoiler for me.. I'll take a picture of it tonight maybe

Later,

Well, you know my preference for paint shops

But I think there is a guy on the Ontario board that does paint?!? Can't remember his handle though. Hopefully he'll see this post.

Otherwise, another place in Hamilton that I used years ago was Kelly Autobody on Upper Wellington. Very good shop and they were the cheapest (aside from Maaco...blah) at the time.

Thanks guys.
I still have to do some field research of my own with a few places around here that I know of.
383 Smoka, what's the name of your shop? Maybe I'll just swing by for a quote.
