Alternator Bearing replacement

Do any of you guys know if the bearing in a 105-amp alternator is a service able item or do I have to swap the whole thing?

I think its only the bearing which is fried because it started making this rattling noise and then smoke started shooting out of it. I turned the car off when I saw the smoke, then back on and then the dam thing wasn’t even spinning. This one really ticks me off because the alternator is not even that old (2 years) and probably has less than 10,000 km on it! Any ideas???

Thanks

I got a rebuilt one from a place in Brampton for $80 with the core and a bit of haggling. I think his normal price is about $100 and that comes with a year warrenty.
