Posting early this year so everyone has a chance to make plans.
I will be leading the north caravan from the O'hare oasis southbound off of I294
We will join up with the southern caravan and head to the show from there. Every year has been different amount of people but most times once both groups meet up there are between 8-12 cars. We will meet up around 9:30 to leave by 10 to make it to the show by 12. Any questions shoot me a message

still not 100% sure if i'm in,but if so, i may just be heading straight to show....cant afford to get all your cars oil and smudge on my paint!!!

Then the faster i go and all my shine will rub off onto your rides...my plans are to attend..just hoping it will work out that way...new additions to show off...my car was..and still is within a few feet of the floid waters...kinda scary honestly...

 

Im coming with JOSHY1410 and another one of my buddies hopefully can get more and meeting at the oasis at 9:30

 

I'm located in the Bloomingdale/Roselle area. When you guys do this caravan, is it on the Friday or the Saturday? I'd love to make the trip with everyone.

since my uncle lives in park ridge and i live in Elmhurst, We'll see if we can make it to the Caravan as well. Look for a convertible GTA heading your way on that morning....

Yes you would want to hook up with the Southside caravan that is where the north side goes to and we make one hug caravan. The south is out of oak forest so that's right there

I will bring a couple other cars with me, but we will forego the caravans and head straight there..but everyone else here reading this thread should hookup with Steve#1...and Steve#2,and hookup with the North or South Caravans..especially if youre new to the show....see you all there..remember,bring a cooler with a few beers in it...you'll thank me later...with your beers!!!!

I am coming from Minnesota, but I will be joining up with the Milwaukee group at the Shell station right off I94 on Ryan road enroute to the O'hare oasis.

 

yea was going to say there is a group coming down from Wisconsin to meet up at the oasis i would get in touch with those guy and see what time they are heading out. but 10:00 depart time will be the goal so we are on time to the south caravan and to the show

No, I needed time to drive it because it's a new motor and rebuilt trans. We are having issues with the TH350 not going into 3rd geear now as well. I won't have enough time to work out the bugs.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but the drive would be a perfect time to break In the motor and adjust the linkage that should do it. Open exhaust=fun!!

 

alright..looks like im coming for the show!..will be coming down solo,and not joining the caravans..but on a good note,ill be bringing some coronas with me..everyone follow my example and bring a few cold ones....gonna have some lower control arms and panhard bar to sell as well....OEM...

When we got off 294 to go to the other Steve's house was that to get on 6? I'm trying to pay my missed toll, but I'm not sure what exit we took. It was the last toll and it was an unattended one with a basket.

 

Ya would have been route 6 or 159th street. You guys should have taken cicero/127th but you missed it. Next year keep it in mind

 

But getting off at 159 is faster the Cicero
