Which full-roller rockers to use with ZZ-4 heads and hot cam??

I called Summit and they said that CompCams doesn't have a full-roller rocker listed for use with my centerbolt valve covers and vette heads. I'm looking for a 1.6 ratio and may just go with the Crane Gold's self aligning rockers, if Comp doesn't have a set of self aligning centerbolt style rockers that'll fit. Does anyone use comp roller rockers with their vette heads? I have the stronger LT-4 valvesprings also and was wondering if they're good for the .525 increase in lift that the1.6's will give me?

Crane Gold, I don't know about what lift you get coil bind with LT4 springs, you should check with your local dealer.

You must uprade the springs! If your useing the ZZ4 the 1.6RR will give you .506 int. and .544 exh. lift. I just bought a set of Crane cams springs for $108 which are good to .600 lift and 7500rpm. I don't think I'll break those anytime soon.

I'm probably going to go with the gmpp roller rockers, which are aluminum like the crane golds. Plus they look cooler, can't beat the bowtie. I also found out my lt-4 valve springs are the ones that come with the hot cam kit and they're also the ones that come on new vette heads through GM, so I'm cool there. Oh yeah, if anyone is running Comp rockers on these heads let me know how you like them and if there was a noticable performance improvment.

I have a set of ported Vette (ZZ4) heads that I am having new guides put in...and the guy doing the work was the chief head guy who worked for Doug Rippie Motorsports for 10 years. He has seen a lot of these heads.

He said that I can use standard roller rockers (non-narrow) as long as I use guideplates on the heads. He has done so MANY times and hasn't had a problem. Also, he has ported these heads to flow as well as AFR 190's

I would like to hear what others have heard or experienced with this.

BTW, I have a set of the Blazer roller rockers (Crane, I think) that I will be throwing on when I do the head install.

rocker arms

You have to watch, i have a set of summit 1.6 on my trick flows which are center bolts. And the vc bolts rub on the rocker arms. Crane does make special rocker arms for center bolts.
