Leaky injectors cause gas in oil?

My new Accel injectors seem to be leaking and they only have 5k on them. During a 20min oil change, my fuel pressure drops from 45psi to 0psi. The oil smelled of gas and I am trying to determine if it is from the injectors or when I had 3 fouled plugs.

Yeah.. what motor do you have? Why did you get new injectors? How many miles does the motor have on it?

Its a 89 L98 with 75k. I changed the injectors because 6 of them had inpedence values of 0-3ohms and the car wasn't driveable. The new injectors fixed the problem. Just recently, I had oil on plugs 1,3, and 7 and were fouled. The fuel pressure is dropping to quick correct? In another post asking about the plugs, they said a fouled plug will cause fuel to get dumped into the chamber and may slip past the rings into the oil.

my advice to you would be to run a compression test at the very least to verify the compression around 120 psi on my car 305 is acceptable with minor deviation. a leak down test would also be effective for testing rings. not familiar with that procedure but would like some info on it. sounds like your in bad shape and new injectors only magnified it. i recently frazzled a plug wire and have experienced the fouled plugg. but gas in the oil doesnt sound good at all. hone it and rering it and it should solve your problem or better yet bore it out and get new pistons whatever you decide good luck. sounds like that mill was driven hard and put away wet.

I had a short in my injection system which caused the injectors to open a lot longer than they were supposed to at times, and it resulted in diesel fuel in my oil pan. It took the shop 3 days to find the short in the line between the ECM and the engine.

Just something to keep in mind.
