LT4 vs L98/LT1 VC's

Hey hopefully someone here knows, but I was told that the stock LT4's used the crane gold roller rockers?? true/false?
and if so are the valve covers for an LT4 taller than the L98 or LT1 valve covers? Im trying to find some taller valve covers to clear my poly locks
thanks
Jack

The Crane Golds fit under the stock valve cover, so I would guess that there is no difference.

Im running the LT4 VC w/ CompCam ProMags... and i had to ever so slightly clear the "bumps" on the inside to clear the poly locks.

What I did to mark them was just press on the VC abit.. NOT HARD .. and the locks marked the VC.. cleaned up those spots.. and fits like a champ

HTH,

Rick

yeah I did the same thing, set the VC's on and then took a small hammer and tapped on them to get a little mark on the inside, then dimpled the inside of the VC's looks kinda cheesy if you look close, was hoping that the other's were taller, didnt want to have to get a special aftermarket VC perhaps Ill run across another set of stockers and get a little nuts with my mig welder! haha
