Is This True????

Is this true what I hear...the L98 350's have grey fuel injectors and the LB9 305 has black ones....is this true?? Someone said thats a way to tell the two apart by just looking at it....

Not correct. I have two sets of '88 L98 injectors and they're all black. Only way to be sure is to get the part# off them and check...p/n is located up top near the electrical connector.

The grey injectors were used in 89-up cars (I think). They have a bad rep as far as reliability and such, and are failing on me as we speak. Only way to tell diff. between 305 (19lb) and 350 (22lb) would be by the part numbers.

You just have to look closely, it'll be either printed, or embossed onto it somehwere. Pretty small print.
