TPI on a TBI motor?

can it be done? i have all the parts for the TPI system, except an engine. i can find plenty of TBI 350s in trucks thouh and they're cheaper. so can i buy one of these, put the TPI on an be in business or are the blocks different?

Transmission: Tremec T56
Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
Its the same bottom end, just a different intake. My dad removed the TBI intake from his 92 Camaro 305 engine and put a TPI intake on top of it. He gained 17 HP and 70 TQ at the rear wheels, too. Just make sure you're getting an 87+ roller-cam engine with centerbolt heads.

TPIs came with a different torque converter, too, so to get the "full" effect of the swap, you should do that too.
