COLD Start Injector Removal.....w/in

OK on the same topic...Im converting over to speed density...Well actually already di the conversion NOW playing CLEAN UP....

I pulled the CS injector out of the car..... But my question is on the wiring......It has a tan and purple wire.....Supposedly from what Ive read the TAN and purple both go to the Cold start injector switch...Which is Pass side of manifold next to the CTS... If anyone knows what size the hole is for the switch Id appreciate it...As Id like to buy a plug for that hole...

But then the wiring..At least the purple wire has a splice and goes inside the car.... What is it connected too...Ive read the ECM does not control the injector So Im assuming its a power wire....If so is there any problem with removing that whole circuit..??

BAsically what Im trying to do is ELIMINATE all Wires and components I DONT NEED....All the way to their source....But I fear cutting out these wires where the SCHEMATIC does not necessarily look like what is in front of me....

I just dont want to do any damage...

I removed mine, just tucked the plug in the harness, no problem.

You could cut the purple wire from the harness. Just tape the end
up and tuck it into the loom. It goes to the ignition switch and the
starter solinoid. Same with the tan wire. It is the ground, just clip
and tuck it away.
