My washer fluid bottle Mod
My washer fluid bottle Mod
I took the combination washer fluid bottle/radiator overflow bottle assembley from a 91 Ford Explorer and put it in where my Charcoal canister used to be.
I think it really cleans up the engine compartment.
also in this pic you can see i have removed most of my A/C and i have also removed the smog pump and rerouted the serpintine belt.

Thanx for the replies
Yes the washer pump is installed in the bottle itself.
I did have to run a longer hose for the radiator overflow bottle from the passenger side, the hose for the washer fliud bottle was a larger diameter than the stock one so i did have to replace all the hose.

how was it bolted in? i have the SLP dual cold air kit and maybe i can mount that under the floor where you have it with alumium straps or something so no one can see it. does the overflow have to be equal or higher then the radiator cap

Typically coolant overflows have a overflow for themselves. Mounting one below the radiator might cause a syphoning effect and drain the overflow each time it purged. Best to keep it close to level with the cap. cheers, Bob
