best place to get a new/used engine wiring harness.
I have a 91 TBI that I am converting to TPI. I have the intake. I need to swap fuel pumps and comps for sure. BUT do I need a different wiring harness? I think I do, but not completely sure.
Any know a good place to get a good (CHEAP=under $100) harness?...
And another thing I beleive that the TBI distrib will work with the TPI system? Is this correct?...

MAF harnesses are a bit easier to find.
I've been looking for a reasonable SD harness for almost a year, they dont come cheap/easy.
There are a few aftermarket harness makers but non that I know of SPECIFICALLY for an F-BODY, which means you'll end up with your ECM somewhere other than its stock location, or at very least a big square hole in your fender wall.

SD offers a few advantages.
Maf has its own advantages, the ecm is better at calculating Air/Fuel with a stock computer and mods, but once you get into prom tuning My personal opinion is SD advantages out weigh MAF.
On a side note, almost all current vehicles use BOTH sensors.

I know it would be a pain...
I know it would be a MAJOR PITA but coundn't someone just MAKE one?. I mean you get your pin outs for the ECM and run the wires? right?. I know it would be a major PITA but it would also be pretty cheap?... I have 2-4 weeks to get one so would I just be better off doing that?...
I now I may be pioneering here, but hell I am also the one MAKING headers for the 60* V6's too so.. nothing new there...

yes it would be a major pain
Not only that but by the time you go to GM and buy all the connectors for your harness you've spent more than what a painless wiring harness would have cost with labeled wires.
There are a few people that hand make them and sell them, they probably get a price cut on the connectors buying in bulk thus resulting in a cheaper harness than you could make yourself.
The last solution is to get a MAF harness, and repin it to a SD harness.
