throttle body fits!

I'm having hell of a time trying to drive my car, b/c something in my throttlebody is hanging up. When I first press down on the pedal it seems to have a snagg, then when it releases it goes down fast because of the pressure it took release.

I took the cable off the throttlebody and there isn't anything kinking the cable up from what I can tell. It moves freely.

Could the blades inthe throttle body be catching or something...

Yes

If you had the cable off you should have rotated the pully by hand to see if it hung or snagged on anything, the blades are virtually water tight so there should be no hangs, snags, clicks, anything like that.

hmmm...

I rotated it but it didn't seem to snag. I think it may be when it closes real fast that it might catch.

just wondering it anybody else has had that problem...

Did you clean out any carbon build up in the throttle body while you were looking at it?

Check your pedal as well, had a problem like that once, it was the pedal hanging up on something.
