ram air hood intake

I lost my hood in a car accident driving my friends camaro and have to get a new one. He got my 4" cowl, and I plan on getting a SS style ram air hood. Would the air box off a 97 SS fit my throttle body so I can have the true ram air or do they make a kit for our cars.

No it won't it, the 3rd gens clearance is not tall enough to fit the air cleaner assembly. I've tried it and could not for the life me me get it to work. I have fabricated one from sheet metal, and now I'm trying different ways to mount it and get it to properly seal. And when I finally finish I plan on sending the information to the writers of the web page and maybe post a tech article.
