'86 Trans Am TPI induction
I have an 86 TA with the tpi and I want to replace the air ducts for the car. I don’t know the right name for the part but it connects the throttle body and the MAF and the air filter together. On my IROC it is better flowing then the Ta and I want increase the airflow. Could u please tell me who makes this duct and how much
Thanks Shaun

You can either get an 88-89 setup, or make your own out of PVC or aluminum and stick a conical K&N on the end.

i would go with the 88-89 setup. it flows MUCH better than the 85-87 style, and it would be cheaper to purchase it off ebay or a junkyard than buying a cold air kit, like from SLP. or if you feel confident with your fabricating skills, you could build your own cold air induction like Jim85iroc said

and the filter. but there are ones that other people made for their car much better than mine.
