siamese runners

hi,
how exactly do you siamese your runners?ive tried lookin in the search thing,i mean are you basically just grinding all the metal between the seperated holes?and having the air get sucked through both intake ports?what about gaskets if you do this?just run around the top and bottom part of them?i think my engine just might need this,i dont much bout engines, but i would hope mine would create power throguh 5000 rpm's,and if my tpi wont go that far,i think i should try every bit i can to make it go that far.thanks.

siamese your base

IMO you should siamese your base instead, many people have had great success with this. Do a search on it. Also you need a cam that makes power in that range, but I may be wrong on that.

I have a siamesed base only, stock runners/tb/plenum. It certainly shows gains.

As far as *how* to do it there's a great article in the tech article section look there.
