The actual TPI intake, runners and plenum will work just fine, they are the same ones as used on the stock 350's. For injectors, if the engine isn't a real powerhouse you'll be fine with the 19 lb ones from the 305, just up the fuel pressure about 5 psi. You should get the 350 knock sensor for it and at least get a scanner and or laptop/software so you can monitor the engine and see how it is running. Then decide if you need to burn a custom chip or not.

What about the intake manifold? Can you use the 305 intake manifold on a 350? I heard you could.

if so, would it be too restrictive?

Does the engine block have to be from a 1987 and up? Im thinking about getting new injectors 23lb for about $300 for all 8.

The block itself makes no difference, its the heads that matter. If you have an 85-86 base (or a vette base) you'll need the early style heads or vette heads. The later base works on the newer heads with the center 4 bolts at a different angle. The intake base can be modified to work on either setup but requires some minor machining to the center 4 bolt holes.
