I have an 87 Iroc-z with a 350 TPI and a 700R4. At idle in neutral it runs great, but when you put it into gear it has massive hesitation and tries to die. If you play with the gas pedal a little bit it will quit and take off like a rocket. It makes no difference if the car is hot or cold, it does it every time. I don't know what is wrong with it. I am thinking it is a sensor but I am not sure. If anyone knows anything about this or has had this problem please let me know. Thanks.

I'm thinking IAC Valve located under the TB. Take it out clean it up and adjust it and see if it helps. If your ever near cleveland and need help let me know. I have everything you will ever need to fix it.
