Insane DesktopDyno reading?

I was just playing around in desktop dyno and I put in my combo

383
World products heads
9.5:1
500 cfm TPI
small tube headers open exaust (TES w/3' catback. Is this right?)
cam
at .050
int .420
ex .433

292 HP and 306 ft-lbs.

Ok now I replace my cam with a LT4 Hot cam and I get

365 HP and 429 ft-lbs

That seems amazing , does this seem like a glitch in the program to you guys? Anyone have similar results? If this is true It seems like a no brainer to do the swap.

Nate

you didn't include the duration specs on the original cam. so giving you a reasonable guess is hard, but I'd have probably expected more torque and less hp.

Sportsmans dont flow increadibly well at low lift, not to mention the 200cc Intake runners in the head dont exactly match the increadibly small TPI intake runners. Try rasing the 500cfi to something a bit higher (and more accurate).
