Help with removing MAF sensor?

I'm gonna try to make my own intake, but I haven't really been able to remove my MAF sensor. I was wondering, is mine just stuck on tight from old age or is there some sort of trick to taking it off? It's got one of those weird clamps with the teeth things, I'm guessing I might have to break this? Thanks.

Is that the black plastic clamp that you slide one end into the other and it sort of ratchets it way in but won't pull back out? If it is, you may be able to slide the halves away from each other until the teeth let go.

You're supposed to squeeze it together to get it off, don't break it.
