Plug Wires and Headers

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions for routing MSD wires without burning em up on my new Edelbrock headers. The headers are ceramic coated, so that should help, and I got some good wire looms, but the spark plug boot is within half inch of the header tubes in some places. Some places even closer. You think those boots can handle that heat? Any ideas? THanks.

My taylor wires are about the same distance, they've taken the heat pretty well so far

plugs

accel makes a set of HEADER plugs that are just a tad bit shorter than stock.... they will allow for the extra room needed.... they are actually made by denso and are pretty good... ran them on my car with a 125 dry shot and never had a fouling problem or burnt plug boots

if your really that worried about it i think MSD makes some type of heat resistant tape that you can use to cover the plug boots with. i saw it in their parts book once, but didn't really see the need with any of the applications i was using at the time.

msd will send you a catalog if you go to their site, or any good parts shop will have one so you can order what you want.
