How to get rid of the cold start valve?
Do they sell plugs I can use to bypass the whole thing? Has anyone done it so they can tell me what to do.

yea he's talking about the 9th injector, I heard you can plug & get rid of it. it but you have to burn a prom or something to go with it.
You also need toc lose the hole the injector leaves behind.

I see kits on ebay all the time. I found a cap at a local supply store that I used to plug the back of my rail. I didn't need to worry about the hole in the runner because I bought a set of late-style SLP runners. But anyway, check ebay.

What application are you looking to remove the cold start valve on? Your handle say's 89350 in it, which didn't have the cold start valve, just an ECM that had a programed enrichment setup for cold start applications. I didn't think the TBI units would have that, considering they are just a single injector set over a throttle plate, kinda like a cyborg carb (half carb, half injector...
). I was just wondering if its for this car, or for another one altogether....

Get the LT1 intake and a chip to go along with it, then its gone.
Better question: what do you do with the injector plug for that, just tuck it away somewhere out of sight?
