drop in fuel pressure

i put a fuel pressure gauge on and within 30 minutes it read zero....is this normal.
GM put a new fuel pump in 8 months ago
is there a check valve somewhere that could be leaking down?

sounds like your regulator is leaking by or you have a leaky injector(s). Try pinching the hose on the return and see if it holds pressure, then let go, if it goes down then it is the regulator.

I'll bet on leaking injectors. That's the problem I had anyway.

If the regulator is leaking by then it usually takes longer to start the car after it has been sitting a while because it takes longer to build the fuel pressure back up
