Serious idle/starting problems

Ok. My car will start but only if I give it some gas while starting. It will die if it idles below 2000rpms. IT was also ideling low (around 500rpm) before this started happening. And it would stall some of the time. Now the thing stalls so much it's undrivable. Any ideas.

I would check the fuel pressure first. When you press the pedal the TPS tells the ECM to speed up the firing of the injectors. They are staying open more and this allows even low fuel pressure to keep the engine running. I had the same problem and found I had only about 20 PSI of fuel. Maybe this will help.

Thanks. All I needed to do was make an idle adjustment. I didn't realize it would be so easy on a TPI car. The car was idling at 500rpm. So I set it to about 1k. so that when it is in gear it idles at about 750. It's running great.
