I'm looking to rebuild my L98 and need to keep it emissions legal so that it passes the sniffer test in Connecticut. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Other mods I'm looking to do are: Vortec Heads and manifold, intake plenum, and exhaust work. Has anybody built a similar set-up and what horsepower should I expect. I would like to see at least 350, but would like to aim more for 400!

Good luck passing the sniffer.

the hottest flat tappet hydrolic cam that easily passes emissions that Ive seen that has no prblems at all is the crane #

http://dab7.cranecams.com/SpecCard/D...1=Display+Card

its worth about 30hp over the stock cam

the crane #

http://dab7.cranecams.com/SpecCard/D...1=Display+Card

also passes emissions and is worth about 35-40hp over stock but requires headers and a chip to run to its full potential and get the most out of its greater duration and lift
both cams have calif. emission #s
