cold start injector question

i have an 85' TPI and just got a set of the SLP runners on sale from summit. the runners are the new style w/ out csi stuff. that means to eliminate the csi all i have to do is plug the one hole where the injector is right? Also, i only drive this car in the summer, will starting the car w/ out any prom burning b a prob?

I DID and i got a bunch of info, i just want this clarified.

I left mine off after going with a superram setup, the runners didn't have the hole for it. Starts up fine!

Just bought a prom burner so I'm going to try to compensate just in case things get tough this winter. Just put the superram on a few months ago.

You should drill a hole in the runners for the cold start valve. I actually have the cheaper ones and I'm going to fill in the hole because I don't need it.
