My 91 TA has a blown engine. I have someone who offered me $800 right now. I just want to know if its worth it to get if off my hands. The person wants to drop in a 305 police intercepter with a carb and trans. So I would keep all the TPI parts to sell on the side.

Kelly Blue Book said my car was worth $2700!!!! I don't think so...

The paint on the car is peeling really bad, has a little rust on the doors, on the windshield column, and by the t-tops....a dent on the fender. The t-tops and windows leak. Both power window motors are bad. The frame and floor panels have surface rust. Some electrical problems like the horn, power attenna, brights, foglights...those don't work. The interior however is in good condition..very clean.

So, should I sell it? or put it on autotrader?

um, sounds like its in pretty poor condition...personally id take the 800 bucks...i just had my friend sell his TA for 1000...it ran decent too...seems like thats the best ur gonna do in my opinion

 

There's a guy near me looking to get $1200 for an IROC that runs, take the $800.

 

The blue book value probobly assumed the car ran. I agree to take the $800 and run. The rust would worry me the most.
