Couple of questions...

I need opinions. I am deciding between a 1989 GTA tpi 305 5-speed, and an ex-DPS (police) 91 Camaro TPI 305 5-speed... The Camaro runs smoother and is nicer all around, but the GTA is rare and really nice outside, although the wing is coming apart on the sides where the bolts are and the inside is horrible. What would you take? I can get either for 3k?

Whats the difference between the B4C (I assume) Camaro and the GTA? I noticed the intake tubing on the Camaro comes straight to the front instead of around to the side? And whats the difference between a B4C camaro and regular 91 tpi 305 camaro?

Also, if I want to make it a TPI 350, is it as simple as swapping in a 350 block and heads and computer, or does it all have to be swapped?

Also, any difference in HP/Torque #'s?

Thanks

Car: 87 aniv vert, 90 Iroc, 87 LT
Engine: LB9, LB9, carbed 305
Transmission: MM5, MM5 conversion, MM5 conversion
Axle/Gears: 3.45, 3.73, 3.73
first and foremost, buy the b4c, its more rare and will be worth more they are almost the same car, very small differences, especially if it looks better

to make it a 350, change the long block, chip, and injectors, 350 will have about 30 more horse, (220 to 245 approx) and about 50 more ft/lbs of torque---------enough to feel a nice difference

a b4c is a z-28 with rs badgeing, lower ins than the gta

to make a long story short, buy the b4c and enjoy the fact that you have a rare car

Cool Tanks guys... So here is a question that I meant to ask before- Since it is a Z-28 with RS badging, in my sig, can it be honestly labeled a RS/Z28? lol

One more question because I wanna make sure... I know this used to be a DPS Police car, so is it a B4C? In other words, does it have to be a B4C to be a cop car?

I would label it a B4C in your sig, but i giess you could say z28/RS

they only sold B4C's to cops, so yes i think it does have to be a B4C to be a cop car, but i guess the stupid assed cops could go to a dealer and buy whatever they want, they do seem to be a bunch of stupid-asses, ha ha ha
BTW, if any cops are reading this, picture me flippin you off, i hate cops, you all have power trips!!
