Does anyone currently run this setup? I would match it up with a lt4 hot cam. They stated that they made 375hp with this kit including the cam on the stocl computer and tb. It seems like a good deal for a direct bolt on kit thats had all the machine work done for you. Also, does anyone know if it comes with roller rockers or if I would have to purchase some. Any input is appreciated guys

I emailed them the very same question two weeks ago, and have yet to get a reply. this is not the first time that they have taken forever to reply to me. If you find out, post it here. or if anyone on here knows, please do the same

Still no response from them yet. All I saw in the ad was that it came with rockers, but it doesnt say they are roller or not. Also Im still wondering what type of headers they come with. Does anyone know what type of times I could run with this setup? Noone seems to be running this setup I guess. Any more input is appreciated.

I was thinkin of goin that route, after i totaled up the price, with other bolt-ons, it came close to what the want for the whole crate motor. Ill prolly bag lunch and save my penny's to go that way. After the crate motor, all you nee is a TB, runners, headers, and a chip. Plus you get a brand new motor with it.

if you do a heads and cam swap, unless you have a low mileage motor, the heads may increase you comp, and the seals will be better that the rest of the motor. Oil blow-by can be a problem. if you do heads cam and such, you may as well have the rest rebuilt while half of its apart. Put new bearings, overbore it, better than doin the work, having something else go, the tearing it all apart.
i already have the 88 L98 motor apart on the bench...i don't have anything to put it in. i may rebuild it with the vortec heads off the 98 350 vortec motor out of a 98 k1500 p/u...(vortec motor also on the bench) just wondering what kind of cam to go with. thanks, tom

That seems odd that you are still waiting for your baseplate. They might be using them all for the crate engines. I ordered my crate engine and had it at my house a week and a half later.

I ordered my basplate 2 weeks ago and got it yesterday. it was at the machine shop within an hour of me getting it, to be port matched to the heads I'm having done.
