fuel rail & injectors
Once I remove the four bolts and disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel rail,do I just pull up on the fuel rail, injectors and all,and they come out of the base or do you disconnect the injectors first? After I took the bolts out I pulled on it a little and it did not come right off.I have to go to work anyway so I just stopped there until I find out. Thanks for any replies and if anyone has any advice or tips feel free to pass them on to me,I am removing the whole intake. Thanks again.
Take your time and gently pull each end until it "pops" up out of the injector bores. It will come out, just be careful not to force it too much...also if you are taking off the entire intake, you can just leave the rail on the intake. I just pulled mine and I did it that way...very simple!

Take note of what kevin said, a lot of newbies miss that one and you didn't mention it. And disconnect the battery first, you will be swinging a wrench right next to the hot post on the alternator while playing with fuel.
And if it's been on there forever, it will probably feel stuck. If you're careful there are places to pry on it if you look.

I did see that other bolt, but didnt take it out
I have also noticed that all the close up pictures here that you can see the injectors in,it just looks like the injector is sticking in the manifold base.On mine there is a round cylinder about an inch tall (it looks like it is aluminum)that each injector goes in,sticking out of the base.Could this be because it's a 90 and the others I am seeing are older?I have a picture I took with my digital camera, but when I try too show them in my post it tells me the file is too big, anyone know how I can post these pics?I also plan on sending the injectors off to cruisin performance to be cleaned and flow tested, what do you do about the wires?,or will I figure that out when I get the injectors off?Sorry about all the questions but I have never done this before and I know there are plenty here who have.I will be getting a Chiltons manual today, right now all I have is a Haynes, maybe it will be a little more help

If it is a digital camera they should be in TIFF, which is a huge file compared to JPG
Anyway, Paintshop and a few other programs let you set the file size when you save a picture, might want to look at them.

Not sure about those aluminum sleeves, but the electrical connectors to each injector simply unplug by pushing in the bent wire thing and pulling the connector up and away from the injector.
Once you have removed the fuel rail, then you have to remove the injector "clip" from each injector to remove it from the rail. The clip is at the top of the injector and slips into the rail. You need a small flat head screw driver to slide the clip to the "unlocked" position and then the injector can be removed from the rail. Unlocking the clip can be frustrating. Just take your time and don't force it...good luck!
