Stalling problem
ok let's see if you guys can help me out with this. The car is an 88 IROC. 350 TPI, mods: S/R heads, edelbrock headers, catback, T-56 and Superram. I can make the car stall everytime if I do this:
Drive with it in 1st gear bring the RPM's up to 2K then let off the gas and let the car slow down a bit then push in the clutch. it will drop down to 500 RPM's and stall everytime. any ideas?

sounds like a vacuum leak, my Formula (87) did the same thing and i figured out it was a blown intake manifold gasket...

I was hoping against that but now that I think about it, it started after the Superram was put on.
What is the best way to check for vacuum leaks?

ok, get ya a can of starter fluid, fire up the car, and slowly spray around the base of the intake. if the car suddenly revs up then there's your vacuum leak...
