T-Ram Qs put to rest.

I am back - After several years off of these message boards - I came on to find a lot of posts about the infamous T-Ram intake. For those of you who have seen the black '92 with C5 wheels in NJ - that is my old car... If you see him - pull him over and tell him I want my damn car back...lol

Anyway, if anyone needs drawings, information, the original summit magazine ad, spare parts, or production numbers - feel free to email me. For those of you who own a T-Ram, please join my newly redesigned registry - more information will come on it but for now it can be found here... http://www.mrldecal.com.

Anyone who is selling one - TOP DOLLAR PAID!!!

Check her out...

More than its worth. They dont make them anymore. Price usually goes up accordingly.

I'll pay $1500.00 bucks for one ALL DAY LONG!!! I already paid $1200.00 for one that cam with tons of extras and it was polished! I'll still pay $1500.00 for the intake, plenum and side tanks only!!!

That's not the point. It's pretty well known that the T-ram isn't the best intake out there. That's not what makes it worth money. Demand is what makes it worth money.

But it's still not worth $3k. They pop up from time to time at considerably less.

T-Ram is still one of the baddest looking pieces of hardware ever produced. Wasn't their talk of SLP making them again about a year ago? Guess there wasn't enough demand.

the talk was people here talking about asking slp to remake it and they said (in simple terms) "No."

No, they're significantly more vertical than the horizontally running TPI base runners.

What about the other SLP intakes that you see in the older 89 - 90 magazines before they made the T-Ram? Where they just prototypes or something?

Damn..... I could of bought a T-RAM manifold, base, side tanks brand new for $500 from a speed shop by a few few years back.

I wasn't sure how hard it was to find the install kit and mods to install it.

huh? Aside from the SLP siamesed runners, which were sold as stand alone pieces to add to your existing factory TPI setup andthe T-RAM, there were no other intakes sold by SLP...they did have some special racing intake setups on some of their non factory race cars though if that is what you may be referring to. Those intakes were not available to te general public.

I've got a May 89 article where SLP's "Short Ram" was tested on a stock 87 Corvette engine. They intended for it to go into production based on comments in the article, but it never made it,,,, unless it was the proto-type for the T-Ram. The "Short Ram" in the article looks just like the Holley StealthRam with a more rounded plenum that looks more like the TPI plenum than the StealthRam's. It produced the greatest peak HP of the ones tested.

Man, I think that dude will stroke if he gets anywhere near the $1200 "offered" on this board for his T-Ram.
