90 T/A with 305 TPI..128k miles..what to look for?
I currently drive a 93 GT, and used to have a 98 Z28. I ran across a 90 T/A in a small used car lot. It has the "Performance Suspension" decal on the passenger's side dash (guessing WS6). Black on Black with auto and t-tops. There is a Flowmaster muffler with Borla tips on it. Everything else appears to be stock. The car has some minor flaws visually, but otherwise is beautiful.
1.What are some things to look out for with this car? (common mechanical problems)
2.There is no way to contact the previous owners, so do you think the car is too much of a risk?
3.What times are the car good for? (1/4 and 0-60)
4.What would be required for the car to hit mid 14's or so?
5. Are there any online articles/websites dedicated to, or containing, any information on this engine/car?

1. Depending on where you live, this may change a bit. I live in Michigan, so the three things I consider in order are: 1) body 2) electrical system and 3) transmission. I condsider other things too, but thse are my top 3. Others may have different opinions on this.
2. Carfax.com I beileve it is may help. Beyond that you are kinda on your own.
3. If it stock and with 128K, I wouldn't be too concerned about it. I would be looking at the potential.
4. Depends on what you have.
5. This site has TONS of material.
