roller cam options: 88-89(L98?) vs. 90-92 vs. LT1

Im wondering what opinions here are about which cam would be best for a 305 TPI motor. I am using my 87' MCLS's LG4 305, but have a complete TPI setup I pulled off a 87' Trans Am(auto/peanut cam) that will be going on the LG4. I took the neccisary parts to make my LG4 a roller motor, all I will have to do is drill the 3 holes for the spider.

Now my question is since Im planning to swap the cam anyways, Im looking into the differences(advantages) of using a 88-89 roller cam that was on the 5 speed TPI 305's, and the 90-92 roller cam also with a more aggressive grind. And lastly the LT1 cam which apparently some have used on their 305's and are happy.

Im doing this under a budget so thats why Im looking for a non aftermarket(i.e. affordable) cam.

The car is a daily driver spring-fall and my other plans are Hooker headers/MCSS Hooker cat back exhaust, K&N filter and cold air induction for the TPI, and possibly the air foil. Nothing major.

TIA.

The cheapest worthwhile cam to run with a stockish TPI setup would be something like the ZZ4. People sell them brand new out of crate motors all the time for about $50. For that kind of price, why settle for something less.
