hi. im new on third gen camaros and tpi. im trying to figure out how the inyection works because the car smells gasoline and is eating too much gasoline.

The fuel press reg. is just in front of the distributor. It spans between the two fuel rails.
However, My guess would be that you may have a stuck injector. To check you will need a fuel pressure gague and connect it to the schrader valve at the passenger rear of the fuel rail.
Let the pump pressurize the fuel system and shut it off. If the pressure drops within a couple minutes. It might mean that you have a leaking injector.
To actually make sure you would need to unbolt the fuel rail from the intake manifold , there are 5 bolts, 4 on top and one in front.
Place a shallow pan under the rails. Pressurize the system (by turning the key to on, do not start!, then shut off. Look for any injector that is dripping fuel.
