Stock oil cooler
I'd like to retro-fit a stock 1LE type oil cooler on my Iroc. In the "Small block parts interchange manual" The list a GM PN 140084369 as the kit. I checked with a dealer and it only shows a pic of the sandwitch and nothing else but the list price is over $100 so there got to be more. What all comes under that PN?
Has anyone done this?

Haven't done it as a conversion but I know what it's supposed to look like when it's done. There are 2 hard lines that run together from the cooler "sandwich" to the front of the motor along the pan rail then underneath and behind the harmonic balancer and then bolt to one of the small bolts on the bottom of the fuel pump blockoff plate. At that point there are just to hose ends sticking up on the passenger side of the engine that tap into the middle of what is now a heater (coolant) hose on that side of your engine bay.
It's basically just an extra "loop" in the system that the returning coolant from the heater core needs to be sent through.
The hard lines I described above (all one piece from cooler to ends, not 2 separate lines) is the only other significant piece you would need to purchase if it doesn;t come with the kit AND you wanted it to look factory stock. Everything else is just hose clamps and short pieces of rubber heater hose which you could cobble together yourself and still have it look factory installed.
If you don't want to track down this piece then you could easily just run some flexible heater hose the whole length, assuming you protect it from abrasion (braided line?) and keep it away from that spinning balancer on the front of the motor.

Just a suggestion but... I have a '91 Formula LB9 with a factory oil cooler. Two lines at the oil filter snake to the nose. Seems to me you should be able to find one (a factory unit) off a wrecker ?
