What would be a better way to spend $1,000? Get a HSR kit and a nice cam to match along with a TB or get the SDPC vortec heads and tpi intake and HOT cam(or a different cam). My engine has about 10K miles on it and is the 350 caprice engine new from GM. Im stil gonna keep all the mods I already have in my sig. That brings me to the second part of this post. I really dont want 1.6RR. I do not want to change the geometry of my engine so how much will that hold the hot cam back

 

Well, your entire setup must match. Personally, I'd go the HSR and cam route. Something about the size of the HOT cam or slightly larger. And I'd get some AFR 190's or good head the MINUTE your budget allows. Or just save up a bit longer and do it all at once.
