Is to much air a bad thing?

Is to much air a bad thing?

how bout this box? their still not done..
they are going to be sealed all the way from my foglight opening to the filter...

These mothas are going to flow some air...I shot air into them with my blower and couldnt believe it...It felt just like the blower!...

I did the blower thing along time ago when I just had the stock air inlet with the tops cut out and couldnt even tell I was blowing air into it...

SO is to much air good or bad?

Air is always good, just make sure you don't pick up water in that scoop, MAF's HATE water.

That kinda looks like the setup I made for my Camaro a few months ago. Here's what mine looks like:

Do you have any more pictures of your design? I'm planning on redoing my air intake with "real" sheet metal (I just used metal flashing) and that body filler caulk material.

Yes everyone has these. There are plans for them on the internet somewhere. If you've got a protractor(maybe not), a ruler, some sheet metal, and a rivet gun or some nuts and bolts, they're easy to make.

I don't think you'd benefit from caulking or "real" sheet metal.

Right, metal flashing probably isn't any different than regular sheet metal, but the main reason I'm redoing it is because I'm going to round off the 90* transition so the air won't have to hit a flat surface; it'll be more gradual and should (theoretically) flow a little better. The caulking will seal up the whole assembly and prevent any air leaks.
