Check out these pics of my new motor!
it has taken me 6 1/2 months to save up for it but i finally got it. this is a 355 with AlOT of mods to it. i'm hoping to get about 400 hp/tq outta her and put it in my 92 z28. i'm very excited for the swap, it should be taking place within the next few weeks. i'm very proud of myself considering i recently turned 18 in december and i paid for all of it myself, or i'm a complete moron for dumping all of my money into my car, but as soon as i hear her fire up i won't care. by the way how do you like the look of the black stealth ram, i couldn't afford to polish it so i painted it myself earlier today. i like it.

the heads are the factory iron which are going to restrict the motor from its fullest capabilities but i'm not about to drop a grand into some new ones. thanks for compliment on the stealth ram, it should go well with my car since it is also black.

I was there only six months ago and I am not discouraging you in any way just be aware that when you get that it there are gonna be little bugs. I had some unreal vision that when my 383 went in it was just gonna fire up run great and drive like it was OEM. Just don't get discouraged and good luck. Great looking motor by the way.

the heads are port and polished, what kind of bugs do you guys mean? are you talking about the prom burning bugs, or problems with the actual motor? thanks for all your replies!

The start of the motor swap began today! I am extremely excited. I have one question though, I need a new fuel pump, but I'm not sure what kind is a good one and also does it matter if it's electric or mechanical? which one will be best for my application? thank you.

your doing F.I. so mechanical is defintitely out of the question. as for which specific F.I. electrical fuel pump? i don't know. someone may chime in with a suggestion for a good one. nice looking setup
