I want to remove the A.I.R. system please help
If i remove the AIR system will i have any side effects IE: clogged cats, or premature failure of cats, emmissions failure ? From what i understand it just feeds warmer air to them before the car reaches operating temp and then it shuts off.... it this true ?
1. After looking at the car i should be able to remove the black box thats connected to the AC compressor, do i need to plug the hole, i would assume so.
2. The steel piping comming from the cats, is there a way i can remove this as well, and plug the holes where they connect ?
3. I also assume ill need to plug the AIR fittings on my edlebrock TES headders, is this true.
P.S. im not looking to get any more perf. i just want to get some of that **** out of the way it looks like hell. Any expierences with this issue would be most helpful thanks !

well the pipes going to the cats is from the air pump..
when you remove the air pump you can remove the pipes.
also you need to plug the air fitings on the headers, its a good idea to.
you might as well gut the cats and straight pipe them..
