i need your help bad!!!!!

well i sold my tpi and stealth and now need to pull the engine wiring harness that goes with the stealth..... it's a 89 tpi that was in my ta.......

theres wires going into the wiring block that bolts to the driver side firewall that i dont know what they are conecting to.......

i have been looking in my hanes manual and it seems that nothing in the harness is the same colors that the manual has..... go figure..

i promised the man the complete harness so that all he would have to do is hook it up and start the thing.. "little things he will take care of"

well anyways i need help getting this thing out and making sure everything that i need like gauges work in the process of going to carb... can you help me??

anxesiously waiting a responce

Two connections to the chassis...the big plastic block on the driver side firewall under the relay bracket, and one in the passenger side footwell near the ECM. Disconnect both of these, the ECM, the sensors, carbon cannister, AC, power steering (if applicable), both starter poles (battery/fusibles and solenoid trigger), and wiper motor. The harness will then come right out.

As for whether the buyer will be plug 'n play, depends on what he's putting it into.

For you, you'll lose your oil pressure gauge, water temp gauge, wipers, and starter. Maybe other stuff too. Just buy the right gauge wire and connectors and make up a stripped-down harness to make up for what you lost w/ the TPI harness.

Guessing you're ditching the injection because you can't make it work right....darn shame (for you).

hmmm

well carb will be better for me here where i live, and i can fool with it a little....

the two bocks at the driver firewall only 1 is connecting to the main harness...... and i've got most of the wires seperated i need to keep things running right....... like the temp gauge and oil gauge.... i'm going to buy a 5" tach so i don't have to worry about it.....

i just can figure out what the computer harness is plugging into on the driverside firewall....... and why i don have power to anything anymore.......

also there is two connectors on the passenger side of the firewall that connects to a 4 plug connector and a single plug near the heater core what is this?

any help will be great fellas...

Sounds like the buyer will not be getting an "all he would have to do is hook it up and start the thing" harness if you're removing gauge wires.

The drv firewall block has two connector hoods, one for the headlights and one for the engine/wipers. Leave the headlight one in place, give the buyer the engine/wiper connector.

Battery voltage to the dash and interior comes thru the engine/wiper connector on some models, so you may lose that too.

That's all ya get, don't have time to type up my whole Helms book so you can save some $$...but consider that chip burning sure would have been easier than what you're going thru now, wouldn't it?

hmmm

not really..... considering i got 1000 for it....... lol......

hes geting a computer plug in type thing... all he will have to do is wire his fuel pump up and bam he should be set.... i'm trying to make this as complete as possible...... if i have to track down each and every wire i will........

hes putting in a toyota truck that he has a 30 in... all he needs is the fi to work, and considering ths was an original tpi harness i figured i'd try to see what those connectors was.....

hey if ya don't want to help thats ok....... i'll remember it though....

I'm guessing "remember it" means if I ever ask a question you'll withhold your valuable expertise?
